I have over 10 years of software engineering experience, including more than 8 years focused on data. I build, operate and evolve platforms — from the underlying infrastructure to the business applications they support.

A data platform for the whole organisation.

Building and evolving a platform supporting company-wide reporting and DS, ML and AI initiatives at a scale of more than 90 TB.

Scope of work

My work covered pipelines, data models, integrations across databases, events, CRM and APIs, and data products. It also included migrating an on-premises SQL Server warehouse to cloud services and eventually GCP and BigQuery. Quality, observability and automation were part of building the platform.

Adevinta

2025–2026

Moving to a Customer Data Platform.

A phased migration of critical pipelines and audiences, balancing immediate business needs with the longer-term platform.

Scope of work

I designed and managed the migration plan, modelled product and audience data, and implemented integrations for data activation. I also validated data models and resolved integrity issues.

CERN

2018–2020

Infrastructure in the service of science.

Working with scientists and engineers on large-scale data processing for high-energy physics research.

Scope of work

I built Apache Spark pipelines, developed and operated a Jupyter platform on Kubernetes, and maintained on-premises data infrastructure. My work also covered accelerator signal logging and infrastructure monitoring.

Scope of work

I worked on core, sharing and integrations. Earlier work covered performance optimisation, object storage, the sync client and protocol.

My First Drawing grew out of playtime with my daughter. I also experiment with personal AI agents and combining models with different strengths. I like finding out how new tools behave beyond a demo.
